After his victory on stage 1, the Eritrean was denied by a matter of meters after the late breakaway held on for the win in San Vicente del Raspeig.
However, the battling team performance helped Bini keep the race lead for one more day. He’ll wear the yellow jersey in Saturday’s stage, which is expected to see the GC favorites contest for the victory.
